Exhibition of Creative umbrella program attendees and Creative art workshops for art lovers

The school of arts, creativity and design – Studio Tanay from Zagreb organized in Stari Grad on the Island of Hvar 15th Creative umbrella seven days summer art class painting for children and youth. Among the children there were six winners from art contest named Tradition and modernity whose participation was sponsored by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports of the Republic of Croatia.
At the same time was held a fifth summer art workshop for art lovers which besides drawing and painting, this year for the first time included the special program for educators in various forms of art work with the children.
As in previous years, the exhibition of students’ works was organized in the gallery of St. Jerome. Head of program Emil Robert Tanay, painter and full time professor at the Academy of arts in Zagreb and professor of art education Anica Popović spoke on the creation of works of art in the warm Mediterranean landscape. Later followed Kana Halić Kordić’s violin program , while the honor of the opening ceremony of the exhibition was given to the Mayor Mr. Vinko Maroević.
